Island

My name is Abel Gropius .

Welcome to Isla, my happy place, where I journey through life's many facets with awareness and hope.

Who I am

I'm a person who firmly believes in the power of a fresh start, ready to start from scratch to infuse new life and motivation into my work.

My philosophy

I believe in being enterprising , flexible, and dynamic . Life is constantly changing, and I'm always ready to take on new challenges and opportunities. Continuous learning is my mantra, and interacting with others is my daily routine.

Teamwork

Teamwork is at the heart of my work ethic. I consider myself someone who knows how to interact effectively with others, firmly believing in the value of unity and collaboration .

Aesthetics and passions

I'm an aesthete , in love with beauty in all its forms. My passion for wine and cuisine is just one example of how I seek to find the perfect harmony between all five senses. But that's not all: I'm also a researcher and experimenter , always seeking new values and potential.

My approach to photography was simple.
It all started by capturing brief moments on film. My first camera was little more than a toy. With my first SLR a few years later, the magic began that still haunts me today.

Vision and artistic research

In the vibrant fabric of contemporary art, I position myself as a visual arts expert , a sensitive interpreter of the currents animating today's art scene. My passion translates into an ongoing commitment to consulting and curating exhibitions that not only showcase works, but also tell stories, evoke emotions, and stimulate dialogue.

Curatorship and consultancy

My profession revolves around the meticulous curation of art exhibitions, where every detail is carefully considered to create an immersive experience. I offer strategic consulting that encompasses every aspect of the event, from conception to execution, ensuring that each exhibition is a memorable event and a critical success.

Event organization

Organizing artistic events is a symphony of logistics and creativity. I handle every step, from the safe transportation of the works to their flawless installation , ensuring that the integrity and essence of each piece are preserved and enhanced.

Communications and press office

The narrative of an event doesn't end with the installation; it begins there. My press office is designed to capture the attention of the media and the public, turning each exhibition into a cultural landmark. With strategic communications and media partnerships , I ensure that each event resonates throughout the artistic ecosystem and beyond.

My team: a synergy of excellence

It's not just my skills that define the success of my initiatives, but the added and shared value of a team of exceptional professionals in whom I undoubtedly believe . People I've had the honor of watching grow culturally and professionally, each in their own field, are the cornerstone of every one of our projects.

Shared growth

Each member of the team brings a unique set of experiences and skills, which have been honed and developed over time. Together, we have created a working environment where personal and professional is a daily reality, and where every goal achieved is a team success.

Interests and elective affinities

What unites us is more than a simple working relationship; we are bound by common interests and affinities . This harmony is reflected in the harmony with which we operate and the effectiveness with which we complete every task.

Dedication and professionalism

My team is made up of dedicated and self-determined individuals who share my vision and commitment to excellence. Each individual is a crucial piece of the puzzle, contributing with passion and dedication to achieving our goals.
